However, if you are the one who experienced the anxiety attacks and you constantly worry about it to happen again, the risk may be increased. The best possible thing to do to stop anxiety attacks is to seek the best treatment that is appropriate for you. Wanting to stop anxiety attacks without determining the exact cause of the attacks may not be very helpful because it is very important that you know what triggers your attacks.

Start learning some relaxation techniques. While you are on therapy, you will also be given with some tips about various relaxation techniques. Practice and master these techniques because it will not only help you in preventing anxiety attacks but it can also help you to relax whenever you are facing a stressful situation.

Another lifestyle change to make is to refrain from ingesting foods that can cause a stimulating effect. If you are fond of drinking coffee or other stimulants, it would be best to refrain from doing so because stimulants will only aggravate your levels of anxiety. However, it is also recommended to taper it or gradually reduce your intake to avoid suffering from withdrawal symptoms.

It is important to be able to recognize the triggers for the anxiety attacks to plan the appropriate treatment solution.

    Thanks for the information. The only thing that I would like to add is that try to not use medication. There are a number of proven and good methods to stop anxiety naturally, so you do not need to use any drugs. If your doctor prescribes you any medication, ask him if it is absolutely necessary and if there is a natural alternative, as in my view natural things work better in the end.

  3. A good doctor that won’t put you on drugs straight away seems hard to find. (If you can find a good doc, don’t let them get away!)
